A Question.

I have a question for the secular biologist. Do you believe that life was created by chance from nonliving matter? If so, describe how this would result in sentient human beings that are not only concious but highly intelligent and have a sense of emotion rooted deep in their souls. If not, what could possibly have implimented such a profound procreation?

Particularly Interesting APOD Picture

I always love the pictures posted on Astronomy Picture Of the Day. And these clouds are particularly interesting. Apparently no one knows for sure how they are formed, but every year they appear over parts of Australia.

You know, when it really boils down to it, the whole reason I'm in science and engineering is to better admire the beauty of Creation. If it weren't for the engineers who designed the airplane, this unique view of these unique clouds would not have been possible.

Full Moon Over the Alps

The moon won't be this large for the rest of the year; it already reached perigee. Somebody was in the right place at the right time, and managed to catch a jet passing in front of this already awesome scene.

The Sky in Motion

This video is truly incredible. It shows the beauty of Creation and the Wonder of God without the use of a single word. It's an example of the Psalm 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork."
